Temporary Seasonal Outdoor Dining Application

On the following page you will be asked a series of questions related to Outdoor Dining at your business. 
Please be sure to review the Village of Schaumburg Outdoor Dining Guidelines for important information regarding local requirements.

Upon submission, you will be asked to attach the documents listed below. Please have these documents ready and available before continuing with the application.

1. Property Owner Letter granting permission to use the property for temporary outdoor dining (if located in multi-tenant property or if the business owner is not the property owner).

2. Site Plan or aerial image to show location of dining area, tables, egress, protective enclosure or separation, customer/ handicapped parking, parking lot traffic flow, location of fire lanes and hydrants. If curbside pickup is being offered, denote location. Curbside pickup should be separated from outdoor dining.

3. Any other supporting documents that may be required to explain or support your proposal (i.e. tent flame retardant certificate and tent installer, information for temporary electrical, additional signage to be installed).

Once submitted, Village of Schaumburg staff will review your application and contact you with any questions. Application review may take up to two (2) business days - three (3) business days. If your proposal is approved, you will receive an email from village staff informing you of your approval.
